History of TMIA

TMIA was formed in 1998 to advance business prospects for vendors and service providers in the enhanced telecommunications services industry.

The first annual meeting was held in Phoenix, AZ in January 1999. Since that time TMIA has held an annual conference and exhibition in tandem with the annual meeting. TMIA also holds an annual fall educational conference.

The organization began with 8 founding member companies in July 1998. Today, TMIA boasts a membership of over 45 member companies. The most recent annual meeting had over 170 participants from 56 companies.
