Interest in UC Drives Association Growth

consumer interest in services under the unified communications umbrella,”
said Tom Harper, Executive Director of the TMIA. “Our market
surveys indicate high levels of interest – over 50% –
in such features and services as voice-activated dialing, message
management from the PC, and anywhere-anytime message notification.”
TMIA Provides Forum for Research and Education
Members of the TMIA are given access to TMIA resources, and can
participate in research committees whose areas of focus include
unified communications, messaging and telephone answering. Semi-annual
meetings offer the opportunity to share information on new technology
and services and participate in open discussions covering industry
and market challenges and opportunities.
